Jordan Adamson is a Political-Geographical Economist whose research delves into the nexus of economics, politics, geography, and conflict. He found his passion for economics at Pacific Lutheran University. Further studies at Clemson University, the Smith Institute, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Growth and Opportunity refined his focus.

With a diverse range of interests from conflict economics to spatial modeling, Jordan’s work is deeply influenced by figures like Milton Friedman and Thomas Schelling. He’s known for his contributions to R packages like STrollR and AncientR, along with a commitment to automating workflows.

Currently an Assistant Professor at Leipzig University, Jordan continues to contribute to the world of economics, exploring both academic and cultural facets of Leipzig, Germany.
