Sherzod B. Akhundjanov
Bio
Sherzod Akhundjanov is an Associate Professor in Utah State University’s Department of Applied Economics, holding an M.S. in statistics and a Ph.D. in economics from Washington State University. His doctoral dissertation earned an Honorable Mention for the 2017 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award by the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.
His research addresses local and global public policy needs, gaining recognition in prestigious academic journals and popular media outlets like The Washington Post and The Salt Lake Tribune. Dr. Akhundjanov’s exceptional research has been honored with awards from the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) and the Western Agricultural Economics Association (WAEA).
