Robert Krol

Robert Krol is an emeritus professor of economics at California State University, Northridge, and a Senior Affiliated Scholar at the Mercatus Center, George Mason University. He has also served on the Board of Policy Advisors for the Heartland Institute. Before his academic career, he worked as an economist at Security Pacific National Bank and the Milken Institute in California, holding a Ph.D. in economics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
His research focuses on regulation, transportation infrastructure, international trade, and the impact of economic policy uncertainty. His work has been published in top economics journals and policy papers for organizations like the Cato Institute and the Mercatus Center.
