Gavin Roberts is a contributing scholar with the CGO. He has been a member of the WSU faculty since 2017 as the associate professor of economics within the Goddard School of Business & Economics. He teaches microeconomics and statistics. He has been the Department of Economics Chair since July 2022.
Gavin received his BA degree in economics and mathematics from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He then earned his PhD in economics from the University of Wyoming. Rooted in his prior experience as an energy analyst, his research centers on energy economics. His current projects delve into the connections between crude-oil and natural-gas markets.
