John Morehouse is a Climate Risk Researcher at Freddie Mac, where he conducts quantitative analytics related to climate risk. He also has experience as a Model Auditor at Freddie Mac, analyzing mission-critical models impacting a portfolio worth over two trillion dollars. John’s background includes being a Graduate Employee at the University of Oregon, where he conducted academic research and taught undergraduate courses in environmental and urban economics. He has also worked as a Dissertation Intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and a Freelance Consultant at Vivid Economics. John holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Oregon, with a focus on urban, labor, and environmental economics.
