Eva Dziadula
Bio
Eva Dziadula joined the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame in 2014, where she is also a fellow of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, and the Pulte Institute for Global Development. Additionally, she is an affiliated faculty with the Building Inclusive Growth (BIG) Lab, Notre Dame Initiative on Race and Resilience, as well as the Health, Humanity, and Society Program. Outside of Notre Dame, she is a fellow at the Global Labor Organization.
Her research mainly covers economic issues related to immigrants and citizenship in the United States. Some of her work focuses on economic development and child labor in Nepal. In the realm of behavioral economics, she also studies the role of social accountability and commitment devices in the academic success of college students. Her research has been published in the AEA Papers and Proceedings, China Economic Review, Southern Economic Journal, Review of Economics of the Household, and Economics Letters, among others.
She was born and raised in the Czech Republic and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a BA in Economics from Lake Forest College.
