Daniel Epstein

Daniel Epstein is an Assistant Professor of Law at St. Thomas University’s Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. He is a political economist and regulatory litigator who possesses a unique understanding of the politics, law, and economics of regulation, which allows him to provide valuable guidance to entrepreneurs at a low political and economic cost. He has a track record of success in writing and securing the passage of federal legislation, Executive Orders, and setting Supreme Court precedents. Epstein’s expertise has led to winning strategies for a number of businesses, including LabMD, Buckyballs, Rhea Lana Inc., Fuel Cell Inc., Limnia, and John Yates. He has also led successful congressional investigations and government transparency lawsuits, as well as defended against them.

Epstein was the strategist behind presidential actions promoting regulatory transparency in enforcement and is a full-time scholar of administrative law at St. Thomas Law in Miami. He has been published in legal periodicals at the University of Chicago and Yale law schools, as well as in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the Washington Post.
