Brandyn Churchill is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Resource Economics at UMass Amherst. His research centers on the intricate interplay of information and cost in shaping healthcare decisions. In addition, he spearheads several projects delving into the effects of public policies and social comparisons on self-image, attitudes toward beauty, and weight-related behaviors. He successfully earned his PhD in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University in 2021, and he obtained his Masters in Economics from San Diego State University.
