Corey A. DeAngelis

Corey DeAngelis is a contributing scholar with the CGO. He is a senior fellow at the American Federation for Children, executive director at Educational Freedom Institute, and an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute. He’s also a senior fellow at Reason Foundation and a board member at Liberty Justice Center. Recognized for his impact on education policy, he’s a Forbes 30 under 30 awardee and received the Buckley Award from America’s Future in 2020. DeAngelis holds a PhD in education policy from the University of Arkansas, a BBA, and an MA in economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His prolific work encompasses over 40 articles, book chapters, and reports on education policy, with publications in notable academic journals and media outlets such as Fox News, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and National Review
