Jason Walsh
Bio
Jason Walsh is the Fisheries Economics Program Manager at the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries. With extensive experience in marine biology and academic guidance, he has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, where he contributed to student learning. Jason’s diverse background includes roles as a Product Delivery Manager at Seaside Linen and Delivery and an intern at the USDA.
Jason holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island and completed his undergraduate studies in Economics and Environmental Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He is known for his research skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Jason is dedicated to the field of marine fisheries and has a strong academic background to support his work.
