Kallin Kelley

Undergraduate Research Fellow

Bio

Kallin is an undergraduate student studying Finance and Accounting, set to graduate in Fall 2024.

He joined the CGO in Fall 2022 to improve his research and writing skills. His research focus is immigration. He wanted to join the CGO to contribute to practical policy areas with real-world effects. Right now, Kallin is focusing on immigration court reform research.

If Kallin could share one important fact with the world, it would be about the importance of creating a collaborative and supportive environment. He believes more in cooperation than competition, that helping each other will help us reach our full potential.

After graduation, Kallin plans to do a Master’s degree in Accounting. Then, he wants to go to law school and specialize in tax litigation.

About Student Research Fellowships

Undergraduate Research Fellows at the Center for Growth and Opportunity work alongside CGO’s research staff and a worldwide network of scholars. Our fellows are integral components to the Center’s research process.

During their fellowships, undergraduate students have the opportunity to write independently as well as contribute to ongoing research. Students are guided through the research process as they help answer questions related to technology and innovation, environmental stewardship, immigration, and tax policy. CGO fellows are encouraged to share their research at academic conferences, poster exhibitions, and symposiums. Our fellows also work with the Center’s outreach team to get their research to the right people, at the right time in order to make real changes in the world.
