Bio
Peter Wang is an Assistant Professor at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University in 2017. His research interests include labor economics, public economics, digital economy, and inequality. Recently, he is investigating the disparate impacts of broadband on female and minority entrepreneurship, and the economic implications of entry of platform owners on their own digital platforms. He was previously a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Florida Public Utilities Research Center Digital Markets Initiative, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Wesleyan University.
