Tim Kane
Bio
Dr. Tim Kane, an accomplished economist, author, and speaker, boasts a diverse career spanning military, business, and nonprofits. His adept fundraising skills have benefited tech startups and nonprofit research projects. A former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, he’s now the J.P. Conte Research Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, leading the Immigration Working Group. A vocal advocate for the “All Volunteer Force,” he influenced Pentagon reforms.
Tim is a prominent media commentator, appearing on PBS, Fox News, CNN, NPR, and more. He hosts “Why America? The Immigration Podcast” and will soon publish “The Immigrant Superpower” with Oxford University Press, following previous acclaimed books reviewed by major publications.
He obtained his PhD in Economics from UC San Diego.
